ÖZET
Bu araflt›rman›n amac›, ö¤retmen adaylar›n›n s›n›f atmosferine
iliflkin alg›lar›n› ve bu alg›lar›n ö¤rencinin cinsiyeti,
ö¤retmenin cinsiyeti ve s›n›f düzeyi ile iliflkilerini incelemektir.
Araflt›rmaya Ege Bölgesinde yer alan bir E¤itim Fakültesi’nden
752 (451 bayan ve 301 erkek) ö¤renci kat›lm›flt›r. Arafl-
t›rman›n verilerinin çözümlenmesinde Standart Sapma, t-testi,
Varyans Çözümlemesi kullan›lm›flt›r. Bulgular (a) ö¤rencilerin
s›n›f atmosferine iliflkin alg›lar›n›n olumsuz oldu¤u, (b) ö¤renci
alg›lar›n›n ö¤retmenlerinin ve kendilerinin cinsiyetlerine ve
s›n›f düzeylerine göre farkl›l›k gösterdi¤i görülmektedir.
ABSTRACT
The purpose of the research is to investigate prospective
teachers’ perceptions of classroom atmosphere and
their relationship with student gender, teacher gender and grade
level. The sample consists of 752 students (451 females
and 301 males) of a Faculty of Education in Egean District.
Data was gathered by The Scale of Classroom Atmosphere.
Mean, Standard Deviation, t-Test and Analysis of Variance
were employed to analyse the data. Findings reveal that (a)
students’ perceptions of classroom atmosphere are negative,
(b) students’ perceptions vary in terms of the teachers’ and
their own genders and grade levels.
