ÖZET
Bu çal›flmada ilkö¤retim 4. s›n›f ö¤rencilerinin Fen derslerinde “Hayvanlar› Tan›yal›m” konusunda sahip olduklar› kavram
yan›lg›lar› tespit edilmifl, bu yan›lg›lar› gidermek için çal›flma yapraklar› gelifltirilmifl ve uygulanm›flt›r. Çal›flma yapraklar›nda;
kavram haritalar› kullan›larak konunun ba¤lant›lar› ve özü verilmifl, senaryolar kullan›larak ö¤rencilerin hayal dünyas›na girilmeye
çal›fl›lm›fl ve ö¤rencilerin konuya farkl› bak›fl aç›s› kazanmalar› sa¤lanm›flt›r. Bu çal›flmada ‹zmir ilinden (n=78, 33 k›z, 45 erkek
ö¤renci) amaca ba¤l› örneklem seçimi yap›larak örneklem seçilmifl ve seçilen gruplar aras›ndaki farklar irdelenmifltir. Çal›flmada
seçilen deney grubuna çal›flma yapraklar› haz›rlanarak ö¤retim yap›lm›fl, kontrol grubuna ise geleneksel yöntemle ö¤retim yap›lm›flt›r.
Veri toplama arac› olarak ön test-son test kontrol gruplu desen kullan›lm›fl, verilerin analizinde ise “t testi” kullan›lm›flt›r. Çal›flma
sonucunda çal›flma yapraklar›n›n ö¤rencilerin “Hayvanlar› Tan›yal›m” konusu ile ilgili kavram yan›lg›lar›n› gidermede etkili oldu¤u
tespit edilmifltir (t=7,03; p<0,05).
ABSTRACT
In this research; the mis-concepts of Elementary 4. class students about “Unit on Animals” topic are determined and
to eliminate this problem, worksheets are improved and applied to remove these mis-conceptions. In the worksheets; subject’s
connections and essential parts are given by using concept maps. Moreover by using scenarios, it is tried to get in the students
imagination world and to give them a different point of view about subjects. In this research; (n=78, 33 girl, 45 boy students) samples
are chosen depending on the aim from the city of ‹zmir and differencies between samples are examined. Picked sample group are
educated wiht worksheets while traditional education methods are applied to control group. Pre test-post test control group design is
used as data collection tool and t-test is used for analyzing data. At the end of the research, it is observed that the worksheets on
“Acknowledge the Animals” are benefical on removing the misconceptions about this topic (t:7,03; p<0,05).
