ÖZET
Bu çal›flmada, ilkö¤retim 7. ve 8. s›n›f ö¤rencilerinin
matemati¤e ve bilgisayara iliflkin öz-yeterlik alg›lar›n› ölçen
matemati¤e iliflkin öz-yeterlik alg›s› ve bilgisayara iliflkin özyeterlik
alg›s› ölçekleri gelifltirilmesi amaçlanm›flt›r. Çal›flman›n
di¤er bir amac› ise ö¤rencilerin matemati¤e ve bilgisayara
iliflkin öz-yeterlik alg›s›na yönelik cinsiyet farkl›l›klar›n› incelemektir.
Yap›lan faktör analizi sonucunda 15 maddeden olu-
flan matemati¤e iliflkin öz-yeterlik alg›s› ölçe¤ini oluflturan
maddeler 3 faktörde toplanm›flt›r. Bu faktörler s›ras›yla; günlük
yaflamda matematik kullan›m›, denklemler ve simetri olarak
adland›r›lm›flt›r. 10 sorudan oluflan bilgisayara iliflkin özyeterlik
alg›s› ölçe¤ini oluflturan maddeler ise 2 faktörde toplanm›fl
bu faktörler ise s›ras›yla bilgisayar ile ilgili genel bilgiler
ve özel bilgisayar becerileri olarak adland›r›lm›flt›r. Matemati¤e
iliflkin öz-yeterlik alg›s› incelendi¤inde erkek ve k›z
ö¤renciler aras›nda anlaml› bir fark bulunamam›flt›r. Bilgisayar
öz-yeterli¤i aç›s›ndan bak›ld›¤›nda ise erkek ö¤rencilerin
anlaml› düzeyde k›z ö¤rencilerden daha yüksek ortalamaya
sahip olduklar› görülmüfltür.
ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study is to develop mathematics
and computer self-efficacy scales that measures the
mathematics and computer self-efficacy beliefs of seventh and
eighth grade students. The other purpose of this study is to investigate
gender difference in mathematics and computer
self-efficacy. Factor analysis results revealed that the mathematics
self-efficacy scale containing 15 items loaded on three
factors and these factors named as using of mathematics in daily
life, equations and symmetry respectively. 10 items that
constitute computer self-efficacy scale loaded on two factors
and these factors named as general skills about computer and
more specific computer skills respectively. There was no significant
mean difference was found between boys and girls
with respect to mathematics self-efficacy but boys had significantly
greater mean scores than girls with respect to computer
self-efficacy.
