ÖZET
Ülkemizde çeflitli platformlarda s›kça ilkö¤retimden
ortaö¤retim sonuna dek okullarda yabanc› dil ö¤renenlerin ö¤-
rendiklerini günlük yaflamda gerekli durumlarda kullanamad›klar›
ve genel olarak yabanc› dil ö¤retiminde baflar› elde edilemedi¤i
dillendirilmektedir. Bu baflar›s›zl›k ço¤u kez ders kitab›
seçimi, ders saatlerinin azl›¤› vb. gibi nedenlere ba¤lanmaktad›r.
Bu çal›flmada, konuya yabanc› dil ö¤renme tekniklerinin ö¤-
retimi aç›s›ndan yaklafl›lacak, tek dilli sözlük kullanma, okuma
tekniklerinin verilmesi ve ö¤rencinin ders d›fl›nda okumaya
özendirilmesinin yabanc› dil ö¤retimine getirece¤i katk›
de¤erlendirilecektir.
ABSTRACT
It has been argued in many platforms that foreign
language learners studying at all levels from primary to
high schools, cannot make use of what they have learned in
necessary situations and in general, cannot attain success in
foreign language. This failure is often tied to the selection of
course books or insufficient hours of instruction, etc.
In this study, this problem is approached from the perspective
of foreign language learning techniques including using monolingual
dictionaries, instructing reading techniques, and
motivating students to read outside the classroom.
