ÖZET
Bu çal›flmada, laboratuarda kimya ö¤retiminde do¤-
rulama metoduna alternatif bir metot olarak kullan›lan yap›-
land›r›c› (konstraktivist) metodun kimya ders baflar›s›na etkisi
incelenmektedir. ‹ki ö¤renci grubu bu araflt›rmada rol alm›fl-
lard›r. Deney grubu ö¤rencileri, yap›land›r›c› metoda dayal›
laboratuar e¤itiminden yararlanm›fllard›r. Kontrol grubu ö¤-
rencileri ise geleneksel do¤rulama metoduna dayal› laboratuar
e¤itiminden yararlanm›fllard›r. Saf suyun ve NaCl çözeltisinin
elektrolizi araflt›rma konusu olarak seçilmifltir. T-testi analiziyle
iki grup aras›ndaki kimya baflar›s› karfl›laflt›r›lm›fl ve
yap›land›r›c› metoda dayal› laboratuar e¤itimi alan grubun daha
baflar›l› oldu¤u saptanm›flt›r.
ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to examine the
effects of constructivist methode which has been used an alternative
method in chemistry teaching to correction method,
on student achivement in chemistry courses. Two student groups
were used in this study. Constructivist method at laboratory
was used for the expermental student group, while conventional
correction method was uilized by the control student
group. The electrolysis of pure water and NaCl solution were
chosen as course subject.Using t-test, the achivement of two
groups in chemistry was compared and it was determined that
the group who took the course based on constructivist method
was more successful than the control group.
