ÖZET
Bu çal›flman›n amac› fizik, kimya ve biyoloji ö¤retmen adaylar›n›n ders kitab› hakk›ndaki görüfllerini belirlemek ve
uygulama derslerinde ders kitab›n› nas›l kulland›klar›n› incelemektir. Çal›flmaya E¤itim Fakülteleri’nin fizik, kimya ve biyoloji
e¤itimi programlar›nda ö¤renim görmekte olan 125 ö¤retmen aday› kat›lm›flt›r. Araflt›rmac›lar taraf›ndan gelifltirilen çoktan seçmeli
sorulardan oluflan “Ders Kitab› Kullan›m› Anketi” ile yar›-yap›land›r›lm›fl görüflmeler veri toplamak için kullan›lm›flt›r. Verilerin
analizi, ö¤retmen adaylar›n›n ders kitaplar›n› uygulama derslerinde fazla kullanmad›klar›n› ortaya ç›karm›flt›r. Ö¤retmen adaylar›,
ders kitaplar›n› fazla kullanmamalar›n›n temel nedeninin ders kitaplar›n› yeterli bulmamalar› oldu¤unu ifade etmifllerdir.
ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study is to obtain pre-service physics, chemistry and biology teachers’ opinions about the usage
of textbooks and examine how they use the textbooks in their school experience courses. 125 pre-service teachers enrolled in the
Physics, Chemistry and Biology Education programmes in the Faculty of Education participated in this study. “Textbook Usage
Questionnaire”, which was developed by the researchers and semi-structured interviews were used to collect data. The analysis of
data revealed that most pre-service teachers did not prefer to use textbooks in their teaching methods and school experience courses.
The main reason for not using the textbooks in these courses was that pre-service teachers did not find these textbooks efficient.
