ÖZET
Yabanc› dil ö¤rencisinin dilini ö¤rendi¤i ülkelere, insanlar›na, günlük yaflamlar›na iliflkin gerçekci imgeler oluflturabilmesi
yabanc› dil ders kitaplar›nda o dilin sosyo-kültürel, toplumsal yap›s›n› yans›tan görsel malzemelerin kullan›m›na ve niteli¤ine de
ba¤l›d›r.
Cumhuriyetin ilk y›llar›ndan itibaren ülkemiz okullar›nda okutulan yabanc› dil ders kitaplar›, Milli E¤itim Bakanl›¤›
taraf›ndan ya yurtd›fl›nda bas›lan ders kitaplar› aras›ndan seçilmifl ya da bu alanda uzman kiflilerden oluflturulan komisyonlara
yazd›r›lm›flt›r. Bu çal›flmada, birinci yabanc› dil olarak Almanca derslerinde okutulan ve komisyonlar›n yazd›¤› Almanca Ders Kitab›,
Wir lernen Deutsch, Texte und Situationen, Lern mit uns, Hallo, Kinder! adl› kitaplarda kullan›lan resim, foto¤raf vb. gibi görsel
malzemeler incelenecek ve geçmiflten günümüze Almanca ders kitaplar›nda görsellik ba¤lam›nda katedilen yolun saptanmas›n›n yan›
s›ra gelecek çal›flmalara yönelik öneriler sunulacakt›r.
ABSTRACT
It is essential that foreign language learners create realistic images of the people living in those countries with their
daily lives which can be done through the coursebooks that reflect the socio-cultural and societal background. In these coursebooks,
visual materials present such images.
Starting in the first years of the republic, foreign language coursebooks used in our schools have either been selected from
the foreign coursebooks published in abroad or written by committees composed of scholars experts on the field. In this study, visual
materials and aspects of German coursebooks Almanca Ders Kitab›, Wir lernen Deutsch, Texte und Situationen, Lern mit uns,
Hallo, Kinder! such as drawings, photographs are exploited. It is targeted that the development achieved in time in regards to the
visual aspects of German coursebooks will shed light to the field through suggestions steming from this study.
