ÖZET
Bu ara ştı rma, ö ğ retmenlerin denetim s ı ras ı nda duyduklar ı kayg ı ile ilgili ö ğ retmen ve denetmen görü ş lerini kar şı la ştı rmal ı olarak saptama ve sorun giderme yönünde çözüm önerileri sunmaya yöneliktir. Ara ştı rman ı n evrenini, 2009- 2010 ö ğ retim y ılı nda, Genel Ortaö ğ retime ve Mesleki Teknik Ö ğ retime ba ğlı okullarda görev yapan İ ngilizce, Fizik, Çocuk Geli ş imi, Kuaförlük, Muhasebe ve Bilgisayar dersi ö ğ retmenleri aras ı ndan bir deneyimli bir deneyimsiz (amaçl ı örneklem) öğ retmen olmak üzere toplam 8 ö ğ retmen ve bu okullarda denetmenlik yapan toplam 5 denetmen olu ş turmaktad ı r. Ara ştı rman ı n veri toplama sürecinde ara ştı rmac ı yar ı yap ı land ırı lm ış görü ş me tekni ğ ini kullanarak ö ğ retmen ve denetmenlere aç ı k uçlu sorular sormu ş tur. Ara ştı rma göstermi ş tir ki ö ğ retmen ve denetmen görü ş leri aras ı nda, kayg ı nedenleri, denetmenin ki ş ilik ve davran ış lar ını n ö ğ retmenin kayg ı düzeyine olan etkisi ve s ını f gözleminden beklentiler konular ı nda birçok paralellik bulunurken, ideal denetim sistemi konusunda denetmenlerin farkl ı görü ş leri olmu ş tur.

ABSTRACT
T he current study aims at comparing the views of teachers and inspectors concerning the reasons of supervision anxiety and to make recommendations for more effective supervisions. 8 teachers from General Secondary and Vocational schools, and 5 inspectors participated in the study. Semi-structured interview technique was used as data collection method and open-ended questions were asked to the participants. The study revealed that there were many similarities between the two parties’ views on the reasons of anxiety, the role of the inspector’s personality traits and attitudes on the level of teacher’s anxiety, and the expectations of teachers from the classroom observations, while there were some differences on their views concerning the ideal supervision system
