ÖZET
Davran›fllar›n oluflumunda etkili olan inançlardan biri de öz-yeterlik inanc›d›r. Bireyin motivasyon ve performans›n› etkileyebilen
öz-yeterlik inanc›n›n ö¤retmenlerde saptanarak, gelifltirilmesi etkili ö¤retim aç›s›ndan büyük önem tafl›maktad›r. Ancak, özyeterlik
inanc›n› ölçme amac›yla kullan›lmakta olan araçlarla ilgili çeflitli problemler vard›r ve geçerli, güvenilir yeni araçlara ihtiyaç
duyulmaktad›r. Bu çal›flman›n amac›, Schmitz ve Schwarzer taraf›ndan 2000 y›l›nda Almanya’da gelifltirilen “Ö¤retmen Öz-yeterlik
Ölçe¤i”nin Türkiye koflullar›nda geçerlik ve güvenirlik çal›flmas›n› yapmakt›r. Almanca olan orijinal ölçe¤in farkl› zamanlardaki gü-
venirlik alfa de¤erleri .81 ve .76’ d›r. Ölçe¤in Türkçe’ye çevirisi, Almanca e¤itim görmüfl uzmanlarca yap›lm›flt›r. Daha sonra Türk-
çe’ye uygunluk, içerik ve ölçme de¤erlendirme aç›lar›ndan da uzmanlar taraf›ndan de¤erlendirilmifltir. Al›nan görüfller do¤rultusunda
düzenlemelerin yap›ld›¤› ölçek, geçerlik ve güvenirli¤inin saptanmas› amac›yla farkl› alanlardan 87 ö¤retmene uygulanm›flt›r. Faktör
analizi sonucunda, uyarlanan Türkçe ölçe¤in iki boyutlu oldu¤u, orijinal ölçekte 10 olan madde say›s›n›n, Türkçe ölçekte 8 oldu-
¤u ortaya ç›km›flt›r. Uyarlanan ölçe¤in güvenirli¤i Cronbach alfa ile hesaplanm›fl, bütünü için alfa de¤eri .79 olarak belirlenmifltir.
ABSTRACT
One of the believes that affects the formation of behavior is self-efficacy. It is a very important point in effective
education to determine and develop teachers’ self-efficacy that may affect the motivation and performance of the individual. However,
due to the problems in the means that are used to evaluate self-efficacy, a need for valid and reliable new means has occured.
The aim of this study is to evaluate the validity and reliability of Teacher’s Self-Efficacy Scale that was developed by Schmitz and
Schwarzer in 2000 in Germany for Turkey’s conditions. Reliability alfa values of the original scale in German are .81 and .76. The
scale was translated into Turkish by professionals who have a formal German education. The scale was also evaluated by professionals
regarding its adaptability to Turkish and content. The scale, that has been re-formed was applied to 87 teachers in order to determine
its validity and reliability. According to the results of factor analysis, the scale that is adapted to Turkish is two-dimensional
and the number of items in Turkish scale is 8 whereas the number is 10 in original scale. The reliability of the adapted scale was figured
by Cronbach alfa and the alfa value for the whole was found .79.
