üzerinde
yapılmıştır.
İkili
karşılaştırmalar
yöntemi
ile
yapılan
ölçekleme
çalışmasından
elde
edilen
bulgulara
göre,
üniversite
ö~rencileri
tarafından
"nitelikli
bir
ö~retmende
bulunması
istenilen
özellikler";
en
çok
istenilen
özellikten
en
az
is-
tenilen
özelli~e
do~ru
sıralandı~ında;
en
çok
istenen
özelli~in
meslek
sevgisi
oldu~u
belirlenmiştir.
Bu
niteli~i
de
sırasıyla
bil-
giyi
aktarabilme
becerisine
sahip,
etkin
iletişim
kurabilen,
teknoloji
ve
yeniliklere
açık,
alan
bilgisine
sahip,
demokratik,
eleş-
tiriye
açık
olma
nitelikleri
izlemektediLEn
son
istenen
özelli~in
ise
esprili
olma
özelli~i
oldu~u
belirlenmiştir.
ABSTRACT
n
this
study,
it
was
studied
what
"required
characteristics
of
a
skilled
teacher"
should
be
by
scaling
study
with
pairwise
comparison
to
determined.
This
research
was
performed
on
82
students
who
studied
at
third
and
fourth
grade
of
sci-
en
ce
education
and
pre-school
education
in
Elementary
Education
Department
in
Hacettepe
University
at
2004-2005
fall
se-
mester.
According
to
the
results
of
scaling
study
by
pair-wise
comparison,
when
"required
characteristics
of
a
skilled
teacher"
was
sorted
from
the
most
desired
characteristic
to
the
least
desired
characteristic
by
university
students,
it
was
determined
that
the
most
desired
characteristic
was
"Iove
of
job"
This
characteristic
was
followed
by
being
able
to
transfer
knowledge,
being
able
to
comminicate
effectively,
being
open-minded
to
technologyand
innovation,
having
knowledge
on
hislher
own
field,
be-
ing
democrat,
being
tolerant
of
criticism,
respectively.
And
the
least
desired
characteristic
was
determined
as
being
witty.
