ÖZET
Bu çalışmada ilk önce, yazın türü olarak çoğu kez unutulan öykÜnün bazı özelliklerine değinilmiş ve bu özelliklerinden dolayı Fransızca Yabancı Dil öğretiminde kullanılabilecek yazınsal "authentique" metin seçimi için aslında iyi bir kaynak oluşturduğu gösterilmiştir. Daha sonra, XIX. yüzyıl Fransız öykücülerinden G. de Maupassant'ın La Parure ve P. Menmee'nin Mateo Falcone adlı öyküleri üzerine bir inceleme örneği sunulmuştur. Bu iki öykÜ incelenirken daha çok Özne (kahraman)-Nesne ilişkisine ağırlık verilmiştir.

ABSTRACT
In this study, first of all, the characteristics of the neglected literary genre called short story are mentioned and it is displayed that because of these characteristics short stories are useful sources of authentic textes that can be used in the teaching of french as a foreign language. Then, an exemple analysis of short stories of G. Maupassant's La Parure and P. Merimee's Matao Falcone is given. In this analysis the relatianship between Subject (heroe) and Object is enphasized.
